Seaners' new teacher is COMPUTER LITERATE. She sent the firstday packet out via EMAIL in WORD FORMAT. Like, a COMPLICATED THING WITH COLUMNS AND INSERTED PICTURES AND CUTE STUFF LIKE THAT. AND SHE CAN SPELL! OMG OMG OMG!
FINALLY WE MIGHT HAVE A TEACHER THAT KNOWS WHICH END OF A COMPUTER IS UP! THAT KNOWS HOW TO WORK AN EMAIL ATTACHMENT! THAT DOES NOT FEAR EMAIL, BUT WELCOMES EMAIL!

God. This makes life so, so much easier.
(She's native Japanese. Coincidence? God, I don't care. This year we might not have to fight and argue to get things in electronic format. I love her and I haven't even met her. Anyone who was around last year to witness the wealth of communication ISSUES can probably understand why this is a BIG FREAKING DEAL.)
