clickies that follow universal rule #1: it could always be worse

From my darling [livejournal.com profile] machineplay: Flesh eating amphibians filmed. Yes, motherhood COULD BE WORSE - your kids could EAT YOUR FLESH. I'll try to remember this next time I'm cleaning up horrible unmentionable messes.

Also, from Warren Ellis' blog (and therefore should be ingested with caution, like always): A child's first traumatic experience with ... er, puppeteering. Yeah. <3 <3

(re: current music - if there's nothing else on the stereo or in my head? This is what's in my head. Always. It's like, the default tune.)

Plans for today: there are no definite plans for today. I hope to write something (maybe restart my set of drabbles because my freakin' hard drive on my other machine is baked and I couldn't get a backup on that file (damnit!)), upgrade the house from 'minor disaster area' to 'kind of messy but a six year old lives here so it's to be expected', eat something other than coffee (NOT the after eight mints, despite what the id is saying I should do) and probably shower. Maybe get a start on my Valentines' Day gifties for my girls. They'll be late, but there's no reason for them to be REALLY late. <3 <3

i wonder what he thought the G was for - grains?

For those of you who don't read [livejournal.com profile] cmpriest: A note from her day at the Washington State Democratic Caucus.

Considering I believe she lives in the (historically) queer area of town, this is even more sad. And/or funny. I'm going for funny.
