There, that's better.
You would never know that I've actually only had four hours of sleep. The Boy was awake half the night again. To top this off I'm also getting a cold, and I'm probably not going to group today 'cause I'm probably contagious, and Chris is also getting the cold, and I still have this tooth thing going on, but it's my BIRTHDAY damnit and I'm still happy even with all that yucky stuff.

I'm twenty-seven. And I don't feel it.

In other news: the Philosophy birthday gift is Amazing Grace shampoo/bodywash. I see another order in my future before the end of the month. Mmmm. I have not opened The Box yet because Chris is still asleep.
I'm gonna go make coffee now.

And no, I'm not wearing green. I hate that. You'll just have to deal. So, um, yeah, coffee good.

Green

For years, my mother bought me green birthday cakes, with shamrocks and such on them. When I finally objected, she bought me a "Muppets" cake with Kermit the Frog on it. I now strenuously object to any cake with a green theme for my birthday. I also object to cupcakes with green frosting or mint chocolate chip ice cream.

I'm wearing a sort of green today because it happens to be what I pulled out of the drawer. In a minute I intend to go find my favorite St. Patrick's Day button. It says "Pinch Me and You're Dead Meat".

Oddly enough, however, one year a friend of mine gave me a live shamrock for my birthday and I was utterly thrilled. Have you ever seen one? They constantly move and turn their leaves toward the light. It's very cool.

I feel your pain.
My sister bought me a shamrock one year, actually, so I have. And that was indeed cool. :-)
