Hmmm.
Well, it looks like next week is supposed to be cooler ... so I think I'll do the zoo next Tuesday instead of tomorrow. If anyone local (or, well, also non-local, though plane fares this time of year are somewhat evil) wants to meet up there, we can do that.
Gah. I need to get coffee ... and I know that I /want/ Stumptown coffee .. (the next best thing to espresso). But I'd have to go outside in The Hot. (Yes, I can drink coffee when it's hot, by virtue of the fact that it's actually a fairly reasonable temperature in my apartment.) I suppose I could stop by there on the way back from Sean's group on Wednesday, given that we go right past the roastery ... hmmmm ... this reminds me; I should put up the window tinting. At some point. Soon. *procrastinates* I should really go out in the mornings when it's cooler and I have energy, but Seaners is very much Not A Morning Person. (
raventyde can attest to this, having seen him in the morning.)
The father in question, among others, may be amused to note that upon hearing 'For Emily, Whenever I May Find Her', the boy threw a tantrum. I say it's correlative; he'll probably think it's proof of some "sign" or another. I can think of at least one other person who will probably agree with me. He can probably think of one person who will agree with him. And so, here we are at the Mexican Standoff again.
Back to reading Alton Brown and Richard Feynman. (Two of my All Time Coolest Dinner Party Guests EVER. I think the two of them would hit it off, don't you?)

The stand-off will never end, because no force exists capable of overcoming its inertia. We will, as they say, likely be here until one of us dies.
