Tuesday's gone and I don't know what to say

(Was it Tuesday? Ah, the strange meddlings of a faulty memory).

I accidentally found Infinite Matrix last night and spent a ludicrous amount of time going through Richard Kadrey's stories before I realized that there was OTHER STUFF on there too. (I'm still not done with his pieces.) He's got a new novel available up there for free download. God, I love cyberpunk. I'd write cyberpunk, but I have a hard time coming up with the intricate little world details without feeling like I'm stealing too much from Gibson. *think* Perhaps ... I will take this on as a challenge. Yes. (This also reminds me that I desperately want to /start/ an online literary mag, at some point in the future, because I think they're cool.)

I also found (on [livejournal.com profile] food_porn, I believe) The Food Timeline, which has immediate applications for food geekery and writing.

Look! Aliens! Aliens that look like lanterns! Oh ... wait.

Another totally awesome post from [livejournal.com profile] cityscapes.

Seaners goes back to group today. Hearing test rescheduled due to rain delay because getting the kid to be cooperative at 10AM is nigh impossible and I can't miss my 12:00 class on pain of death. (Seriously, we're allowed ONE absence before he starts taking off grade points, and we still have to go to Boston ...) When that was scheduled initially it was the only time that would work (due to class scheduling), but given schedule changes the afternoon would work better for everyone concerned. Yay for group, the only thing that keeps me sane.
(Did I mention The Perkins School has a five-days-per-week-full-days-bused program? I did? It's worth mentioning again.)

Time for breakfast.

I need a Boober Fraggle icon. Preferably Boober in the soap bubbles. Anyone wanna make me one?
