Today: respite, which included lunch at Chipotle and dessert at the Haagen-Daas shop, and a stop by weaving works to pick up a crochet hook and a circular needle to try magic loop on, and a ball of deep violet coloured Rowan Kidsilk Haze which just leapt into my basket. Had panic attack due to swelling feet in shoes.

Seaners went to the park with the respite person.

Apartment mostly clean. Icing angry ankle tendon. Going to attempt to write for a while. Have appointment with respite agency (wish I didn't, as then I could nap.)

Sunday for me has consisted of cooking (meatloaf, Corgiguy's bread, chocolate chip-oatmeal cookies) and cleaning (scoured the upstairs bathroom from top to bottom) and laundry (I think the stuff breeds in the basket). Corgiguy is making everyone's lunches, and when he's done, I'm going to cut his hair.

It's not too too hard. <3 <3 this is the colour I have (http://www.yarncountry.com/Rowan-Kidsilk-Haze-Violetta--633-p3871.aspx) - it is so, so pretty.
And the crochet hook is for the little Japanese amigarumi things - I'm going to make a chibi coffee cup.

It's been nice. I listened to a couple of Tom Waits album, editing a long fic to be posted later tonight, and ate soup I'd made yesterday. The effort that went into the food to get me three meals - I had it for lunch and dinner - was well worth it. And I made brownies.

I also trekked up to the gym, where I did this one thing where I don't quite know what it's called, and squatted more than I've ever done before. So that was good.

Magic loop rocks, it's all I use for circular knitting. And I know what you mean about yarn jumping into your basket.

My sunday was unpacking some stuff and napping. Now is dinner :-)

I just bought the Sensational Sock Knitting books and I'm so, so excited to get started - and I want to try at least one pair magic loop (i have stuff for the two-circs method and I have dpns of course) just so i can see what i like best. *laugh*

Spent the first part of the day doing everything but schoolwork. Have now worked on my assignment for a few hours, and am enjoying some yogurt with wheat germ. Yum. ;)

Here, Tom had to work most of the weekend, so I've been in a bit of a pisser. :( However, I did get out to get my hair cut (I was months overdue). I'm cooking dinner right now while he's watching the girls in another room. Tonight I hope to get some. :D

Thanks! I feel so lucky to have found it. Hoping to be moved out by the 15th - that's when the movers are scheduled, anyway. As for when I'll be completely moved in...well, I imagine that could take longer.
