aortic dissection is in that category of "things i'm incredibly afraid of". though it's fab to hear they can fix it before you get dead. and i'm glad they both lived.
i was an unhappy child. just nobody apparently noticed the years i didn't smile. i kind of wonder about cause and effect with that stuff. nobody believes kids who say they're in pain, for example - so technically we don't become disabled till much later in life, even if maybe if someone had listened to us it was there all along.
i like the parrot man.
i also like the bento. strange how you can always tell when photos are in miniature; i don't know why, but there's a certain quality to miniature things that gives them away (and can be quite cute). i miss onigiri and umeboshi. so much.
