today is the last day before spring break. does anyone local with kids want to maybe do some park time this week or something? maybe swimming? the boy is always so bored at home on breaks: i'm not good at, you know, scheduling kid stuff (or really doing kid stuff. *sigh* fail) (nts: call therapist again).

Wow, that last link horrifies me. One, the initial act is absolutely horrible, but I do not at all subscribe to that "eye for an eye" system of "justice" and can't condone that woman's steadfast, unbending insistence on that "punishment". The whole situation speaks so badly for both people. I don't care if it's 'normal' in another culture or not. That's wrong. Wow, that's so wrong.
