some for saturday

it's beautiful outside, but i'm staying in to get some stuff done. we're planning on going to the park around 11 or so tomorrow (Cal Anderson = the park) if anyone wants to go along. <3 will probably twitter any updates if there are any. tomorrow afternoon/evening i have my mri, that should be some fun.

hands twitching particularly badly today; am not sure why. knees and hips hurt. sean is out swimming with his vision teacher at the moment.

some of the stranger things at the auction of michael jackson's personal items.

mystery donors give $45 million dollars to 9 different universities.

ex vivo environment for damaged donor lungs. this is fabulous. they pump nutrient fluid into them and make them breathe using the machine so they can make them useables... the video is extremely cool if also kind of terrifying at the same time.

it's a good day. how are you?

This is a decent day. I've cleaned up enough to have room to sit and look at various bookshelves, so that's probably all the cleaning I'll bother doing this weekend. X3

I'm sick. But the link about the MJ auction cheered me up. What a fascinating, tacky, weird-o collection!

The lung thing is fascinating - it reminds me of the pulsating 'brains' in original Star Trek :D

The Michael Jackson stuff is, um, er, um *speechless* - I love the 'art' D:
