tomorrow is the biopsy day. today i want to get a bunch of stuff done today because i don't know how things are going to be the rest of the week. painting and hopefully writing and i have to finish 'open focus brain' this week.

My thoughts exactly. I mean, considering his ALS he was doing astonishingly well, and still contributing to his field, but it seems his luck's running out.

V. upset about Prof. Hawking. I hope he pulls through. ;_;

(I made a point when I was visiting London (ten years ago oy) to take a trip to Cambridge and hail the Center of Applied Maths and Theoretical Physics; a friend of mine worked for the IT department at Cambridge, so I got a guided tour. ^_^ We had a beer at the pub Prof. Hawking is known to frequent. It was like the absolute high point of the trip.)

Thanks for the sentence link; now all we need is fresh research on why aphasia occurs in people with auto-immune problems. I suffer from it too :(. My main problem is I have a feeling I've used a word/equation/whatever, but I can't access it and get tongue tied in the process.
