Chris just called; he's about to board the plane home, and ought to be home by sevenish. *woo* Apparently Boise is nothing to scream about.
Sean had a very good lesson, and played with beans. (You know, the dry ones)? It's a texture thing. Apparently they're much cleaner than sand 'cause you can just pick them up. The cats are very protective of him when he's with a new person - Silk just sits and watches him very carefully. Velvet is usually much more interested in Diane and her toys. Of course it doesn't hurt that she sometimes uses actual cat toys.
I'm feeling much better than this morning and have got an astonishing amount accomplished (although still no laundry) given my distinct lack of sleep.
