phinnia: smiling dolphin face (gerbera)

A new day, ripe with possibilities.

Actually, moody friendslocked posts aside, yesterday was pretty damn good. Okay, sure, Seaners stayed up until midnight, but he did go to sleep around when I did; and with all that excess energy I had to burn off I did get pretty much all of the back cleaning up finished. As well as talking to some people I don't talk to enough, and being highly amused by the goodness that is Zephyr and Reg interacting with my own pet genius with the brain the size of a planet. Life is good when you have fun people to spend it with. (For more about Zephyr and Reg, read 'Left Handed Engineers from MARZ', which is brought to you by [livejournal.com profile] hai_kah_uhk Well worth the price of admission.)

Chris is in Montana. On purpose. Actually he's doing a tech demo today; he flew out yesterday afternoon and he'll be back tomorrow afternoon. Just a short trip this time, and it's nearly half over too.

Oh incidentally, I got my slipcover a couple days ago. I should take pictures at some point. The apartment's not 'done', but it's much closer than it's ever been to being done.

And before you ask; the mysterious final piece to the puzzle of my sudden good mood is ... drumroll ... homeopathy. Yes, homeopathy strikes again. Back in Buffalo my old homeopath put me on a constitutional remedy which seems to really work well for those deep funk-anxiety type spells that I am occasionally prone to. I remembered I had a full bottle of the stuff and took another dose, because you need to do that every so often. And I feel about ten thousand percent better.

So the moral of the story is ... that decaf coffee may kill you, but tequila and orange juice leaves you alive to remember. Oh no, wait, wrong moral, that's one of Ross's morals. The moral of this story is that life is a bobidda.
