*sigh*
Homeopath is an idiot. I don't see why she has to have us come in, given that Sally (old homeopath) was perfectly willing to perscribe over the phone.
That's okay, I'm not hugely fond of her. Which is fine because she'll be in SF until Wednesday. So we're seeing someone else tomorrow.
One thing I like about this place; you're not tied to a doctor. If you don't get on well with one you can easily switch.
Got some fabric for living room curtains. It's blue carp on a white background. The slipcover has deep blues in it. I think it should look nifty. I was going to get some for bedroom curtains too but the batik I wanted was $12 a yard and we've got big windows (long but shallow). So that can wait a bit.
I'll be so glad to get rid of these stupid windowblinds. I hate them hate them hate them hate them hate them HATE THEM. They break far too easily and have very little in the way of division between too bright and too dark. And I just prefer curtains anyway.
Maybe I'll have some fabric left over. What on earth can one make with carp?
Today's
ljfridayfive:
You're about to be stranded on a desert island and, for some reason, you know this ahead of time.
1. What is the one thing you're going to take with you?
My laptop with a solar charger attatched to it.
2. Who is the last person you'd speak to?
Chris.
3. What is the last thing you'd say to this person?
'Love you.'
4. What would you be wearing?
Zip-off pants (the kind with removable bottoms) and a tank top with a large floppy shirt overtop. Layer, layer, layer.
5. What is your last civilized meal?
The greek pasta from 'Noodlin'' (local place) and a coffee and a caesar salad (with Renees dressing) and a butter tart.
