Happy Canada Day!

It is, of course, Canadian Content Day - I'm pretty sure it was [livejournal.com profile] talphinia that pioneered that concept, or if not, [livejournal.com profile] kolys and [livejournal.com profile] dawnstar came up with it independently, I'm not sure. Well, originally it was the CRTC, if you want to get technical about it.

So yeah. Happy Canada Day, eh? And yes, I do say 'eh.' Not all Canadians say 'eh', but I do.

Now back to wrestling with Regenesis (my [livejournal.com profile] julnawrimo project.) Four pages, baby. I can do four pages. As soon as my fingers unstiffen from the cold.

It's chilly this morning! I'm showing 63 here, and I'm in tank top and shorts in front of the open back door. Brrr. Hoping to cook the house down further and then shut it up.

Oh I know, I had to close the windows and shut the fans off. It's ridiculous.

If I'm remembering correctly, one of the two of us first heard the term from you two, and had you explain about the radio having to play a certain amount of Canadian music, etc.

The idea of having a whole day dedicated to this at home may have also been your idea.

I'm pretty sure we started the tradition of Canadian Content Day happening on Canada Day independently.

Of course, this assumes my memory serves me, and it rarely does. :)

No, that sounds right.
