32 Short Films About Lemonade?

I was feeling really horrible and fidgety all day, and then we decided to walk up to a coffee place on Division (which is about a mile and a half from here) where they sell, as we found out, excellent lemonade. And then we came home. It was a perfect night for it, cool without being cold, just about to rain but not raining, light out but not hot and sunny. Seaners was in the stroller all the way, imitating motorcycles and laughing when we went over cobblestones and bumps.
Must do that again soon.

Haven't touched The Project all day. I think some creative revamping is in order. This thing is really best told in a series of vingettes or short stories. I can do that - and I don't even have to edit what I have (which is a no no) just rethink.
I think it's because my mind thinks in short films. Seriously. If I ever did get back into screenwriting again, I'd love to do one of those films that is made up as a series of short story type films - like 32 Short Films About Glenn Gould. That's the way I think. I can do 'long plot over time' but I tell that long plot as a series of short miniplots. The way I've been envisioning this doesn't work within my thought process. Time to be Zen about the whole thing and bend, rather than break.
Now I want to see 32 Short Films About Glenn Gould. I wonder if GreenCine has it?
Edit: Yeah, it does. *adds to queue*
Edit 2: You know the husband loves you when he brings you beer. Yay beer!
Edit 3: It's Pete's Wicked Strawberry Blonde Pale Ale, if you wondered what my libation of choice was this fine evening.
Edit 4: And it's damn good.

Also, after three years, I now have a new default icon. And those of you that remember the etymology of Phinnia will know why. Those of you that don't, well ... you can probably figure it out.
Although there is a [livejournal.com profile] dolphinia. She occasionally posts in [livejournal.com profile] picturing_food. And it's really disorienting.

*cries* Oh, that food in the community is killing me. Now my stomach is growling.

Oh I know. It's definitely not somewhere to go if you're hungry.

Yeah, considering I had nothing but a subway sub today. Ugh.

Mmmmm... Pete's Wicked Strawberry Blonde! Great stuff!
Love the dolphin icon.

You'd have loved the stuff that we had at McMenimans a couple weeks ago - Purple Haze; it was their pale ale with marionberries added to it. Great stuff.

I LOVE the new icon. I'm a little biased towards the old one, having been the person who took the photo for it. ;) But this one is gorgeous, and certainly suits you.

I still have the old one. :-D I love that picture, I think it's the best one of Chris and I out there.
