still alive

Woman beats off burgular with garden gnome.
I don't think there's really any more to say about that. Except that I'm thinking about the Sims 2. :-D
Because I know there are people out there that care more than I do, apparently Joss Whedon will be at DragonCon. (link courtesy [livejournal.com profile] ariedana.) I still don't get Buffy. I just don't. Give me my crime dramas any day. (Trial By Jury tonight with MUNCH eeeeeeee!)
More later. It's too early for this, and I'm way too tired. I've been up since six.

Aah, garden gnomes. XD

Not Buffy, FIREFLY/SERENITY!

squee. ^_^

Never seen it. Admittedly I don't watch TV much ... I tend to tune in for specific shows (Law and Order, Lost, a few other scattered ones).

All I know is that they sure as hell better NOT kill off Ed Green. They Just Caaaaaannnn't. Not with Briscoe dying. NO.

Although, if they do, I bet anything they move Stabler over from SVU.

I'm figuring they'll move Munch over - especially since he's featured as appearing on the show tonight (according to nbc.com)?
'Cause even with Green not dying (I'm with you, he had BETTER NOT DIE) he's obviously going to be out of commission for a while.

[identity profile] patgreene.livejournal.com 2005-04-15 05:32 pm (UTC)(link)
The reason I figured Stabler is that he so clearly is headed for a disaster if he stays at SVU. Although Munch/Fonatana would make a good pairing, and giving Richard Belzer more air time is quite all right with me.

But do you figure they'll move Munch over to the two-seven, or over to the District Attorney's office to fill Briscoe's short-lived position? Noting that they haven't done much in the way of explaining the absence of Briscoe—wondering if they really need to.

I can't be the only one who thought of an alternate -- albeit anatomically and animatronically unlikely -- interpretation of that headline there, can I?

No. "Beats off" *is* a well known bit of slang for it after all.

And as for anatomically unlikely, I've seen video of a guy having something *almost* that anatomically unlikely done to him...

Just the "Woman beats off" part made me laugh, but with a gnome? hahaha.

A garden gnome is amusing but I don't think it outclasses the Canadian PM's choice of an Inuit carving to defend HIS residence.

I never got into Buffy either, but Firefly is wonderful.

And here I was thinking there's not much kinkier an object to be beaten off with than a garden gnome.
