Trader Joe's... I don't know whether that place is evil or wonderful... or some twisted, warped combination of the two. *g*

Enjoy the lemon curd. *g*

I think I'll go with the twisted, warped combination. :-D

What's lemon curd?

I'm going to hit your husband for not showing you what lemon curd is by now. It's BRITISH. He should know better, depriving you like that.
Okay. Lemon curd is like jelly, only better, and smoother, and lemony. You usually eat it on scones or other pastry or in cookies.

Sort of like marmalade, but with lemons instead of oranges?

If it's got any sort of "chunks," that would explain why he's not exposed me to it - I don't tend to like things with chunks or seeds or the like.

No chunks. It's very smooth when it's made properly. So not really like marmalade at all.

Hmm. Sounds yummy. Could be we've just never encountered it, and that's why he's not introduced me before now. :)

Damn. Yet another thing to put on the "try this" list.

*chuckles*

I really like lemon curd. However, it was imfrickinpossible to procure in Italy and thus never got me as addicted as I might otherwise have become. Also, neither of my parents were particularly big on it, so it was rarely in the house unless I went along on the grocery shopping trips when we were in England. Thus, it was allowed to slip beneath my radar screen even despite finding it at Wegmans.

This may have to be remedied soon.

You're forgiven, I suppose. :P Now I'm going to have to actually finish packing up that care package I planned on sending you and actually send it.

I saw several things in there.
only things come to mind right now though are the cranberry lemonade and the limeade.
