tallin got me (among other things, like that book about the MIT blackjack team and volume 3 of Chobits) Alice in Quantumland and it's totally awesome.

And I shall now succumb to a meme seen many places, mostly because no one's posted this one yet that I've seen, and I think it's particularly apt even though it was written about a different war ...

We got a call to write a song about the war in the Gulf
But we shouldn't hurt anyone's feelings

But the trying was very revealing
