machineplay and I were discussing knight porn earlier today, and I said that this was the logical forerunner to cowboy porn, and before that there was hunter porn and gatherer porn.

I mentioned this to tallin at dinner, and somehow this got on to the subject of David Eddings' Malloreon series and Mimbrate porn:

Mandorallen: "Belgarion! I wish I knew how to quit thee. Cast off Ce'Nedra and I shall cast off Nerina and come with me .... to the walled city."

Belgarion: "Why me?"

(now we've moved on to Jabba the Hutt/Otha from the Elenium. I love this man, in a very, very twisted way. And I seem to have developed antibodies to most of his weirdness, which is probably good.)
