Before I continue this post, I'm going to say that I am actually physically more or less fine. Emotionally I am somewhat shaken: I feel somewhat unsteady on my feet and I'm taking today off. But I did not sustain any physical injuries.

I slipped on the floor, did a kind of crazy splits thing and ended up on my back in the tub. So I had to call 911 because there was no possible way I could get up from that position.

Sweetie, don't *do* that!! Do you need some socks with no-slip tread??

And you may feel ok now, but you're going to be sore in weird places. Do what your awesome girlfriend suggested and take your pain meds and rest so you're feeling ok tomorrow, too.
