Tuesday's gone ...
May. 11th, 2004 08:40 am(*checks under the sofa* Nope, guess not. Tuesday's still here.)
Today I get (for suitably small versions of 'get') to go back to the dentist for moretorture mouth fixing things. Two hours worth. Argh. Annoying, more than anything, really. I don't wanna sit in a dentists' chair for two hours. Of course, I don't wanna get another root canal or worse, so ... yeah. I guess I'm stuck. So I get a temporary crown and a few more fillings.
Maybe I'll take my MP3 player. Yeah. At least then I'll have tunes.
Tomorrow is Sean's IFSP. The day after that the woman who bought the a/c from us is coming to pick it up. Saturday we retrieve
raventyde from the airport. Where the hell did the time go? Then after she leaves I'm going to Seattle for a few days to meet up with
tallin who should already be there, and then we're bringing back
doubletake for the weekend, and that's it for May.
Grand Central Station, how may I direct your call?
Speaking of, I did order that IEP book from Amazon. While I don't foresee much of a need for it now because our team is decent, sooner or later he'll be transitioning into school.
I'm worried about that. Probably because a lot of schools and districts are filled with idiots. Instinct says homeschool, but I have to honestly look at myself and say that it would drive me loopy. So another option I suppose would be a magnet or a charter school, if the one in the neighborhood is crummy.
I can see myself staying local to this area for a while though. Good transit, nice neighborhood. What else do you want? Well, I wouldn't mind a third bedroom for guests and washer/dryer hookups. But one can't have everything.
Oh yeah. Chris thought he'd lost his bluetooth phone headset on the bus, so he bought a new one; and then I found the original one in the dryer (guess he must have put it in a seldom-used pocket). Y'know it still works? I was going to get one anyway ... now I don't have to. Serendipity is funny sometimes.
