Jun. 8th, 2004 02:19 pmIn the usual way, our lovely son has decided to give us both his cold bug. Of course, it's not affecting either of us except for an unbreakable and bottomless case of lethargy, which causes both of us to be spending the day on the sofa like enormous lumps.
I'm reading Geek Love, for
a_book_a_month. I'm not entirely sure what I think about it yet, except it being disturbing, but I am on chapter seven. Not for the faint of heart. It is not a fluffy novel at all. And yet compelling.
Apparently we have the epitome of Shiftless Maintenance Guy. Our dishwasher arrived last week. We are still waiting for the guy to get back to us. The rental agency says he should have called us by now. We ought to be so lucky.
That's all the news that matters from here.
