return to standard time
Oct. 31st, 2004 11:21 amThis event used to depress me because it usually meant a return to SAD. I don't find that's as much of a problem here, even despite the rain. It's at least easier to manage. It still pleases me greatly that we have no snow. After living in Buffalo and spending a week out of every year snowed in (seriously) I could happily never see any real accumulation of snow ever again.
Happy hallowe'en. I might make pumpkin bread or pumpkin squares, but we're not going trick or treating - kiddo's not a candy guy. (I figure this will probably change eventually and am just considering myself lucky for now.) You think the neighborhood kids would think I'm a kook if I took a frozen ziploc bag of pumpkin, drew a face on it with a Sharpie, and put it in the window?
According to
tallin, this article proves that the world is "one big calamari platter."
Hm. I could write, I could read, I could play video games, I could bake, or I could be responsible and do all those chores I've been putting off. Spoiled for choice.
