I actually slept in until nearly NINE, which is at least a minor miracle, and probably had something to do with my utter lack of sleep the day before.
Many Useful and Useless Presents are to be had - books (Illuminated Poems by Ginsberg, Genius (a Richard Feynman biography), The Meaning of Lost and Mismatched Socks, and 3000 MPH in Every Direction at Once (wait a minute:
vfc, did you do the cover photo for that?? wow.)); CDs (Her Majesty the Decemberists, The Meadowlands), nifty stocking treats (a rubber CHICKEN, Dove chocolate minis, mini milano cookies, etc.) and the ultimate timewaster, The Sims 2. *eeeeeeeeeeeeeee!*
So hopefully I'll be seen again. I'm resisting the urge to play until after breakfast.
Seaners is intrigued by his new toys, but wary; (this is why we never buy too many things at once); Mom and Dad are having a great old time with Neurosmith's Music Blocks though. (Seriously, they're quite neat.) The preschool musini is neat too, but I can see wanting the expansion cartridge fairly soon - the songs it comes with are kind of corny. (Fortunately expansion cartridges are thick on the ground and not too much if you know where to look.)
The cold is nearly gone, but
tallin is getting it now. Sean is the Happy and Chattery Christmas Baby. (In a complete lack of regard for anything resembling a solemn occasion, he decided that Massive Vibrato is giggleworthy. Also likes the sounds of a french horn. It's that bwah-bwah-thing, I suppose.) And now: food. And coffee. And Sims. In that order.
*smoochies to all of you* Have a wonderful day!
