So apparently at the end of the month my father-in-law is flying out to Victoria to visit family, and this apparently means I'm going to meet him for the first time. (Yes, Chris and I have been married for nearly five years now, and we dated for two years before that.)
I am unaccountably nervous about this; new people give me the spooks. But we're having company (father + random aunt) for two days at the end of July.
(Is it wrong that I'm sitting here thinking 'I hope I can make the time up'? Probably. But I'm DEDICATED. Yes. Dedicated. Or nuts.
I don't know whether or not I want there to be time before this impending doom family visit because then I have time to get used to the idea, or not, because then I don't have to spend time gnawing on it in the back of my head.
*flails hopelessly*

In other news of my impending doom insanity, I will be taking Japanese four days a week come fall quarter at 9AM. The fifth day is at 8AM (and is in a completely different room). Why the hell do they do that, aside from 'to laugh at the students wandering around in the hallway with no sleep'? And it's a WEDNESDAY morning. Talk about your random.
