Do not play this game before breakfast, because it requires sequenced rational thought and problem solving skills.

(After breakfast, play it all you like. I haven't tried the kids' levels, but some of you with chillens might want to try downloading it. Mac/Windows/Linux. It's neat for kids and non-kids. After food, of course.)

Cute Seaners moments: he sang the entire 'Sesame Street' theme today, which was the first time I've actually seen him sustain a tune for that long. (He has a toy piano that plays it. Still no interest in the TV.)

Also: he has this thing with carrying around my little down throw and putting it places. First it was in his booster seat, and then he moved it immediately thereafter and put it on his child-sized sofa. I figure he decided to lay it down after it had eaten, or something.

A recipe, from the Moosewood Book of Desserts (tested and approved)

Peel, core and cube 4 large apples (about 6 medium ones); toss them with 2 tblsp lemon juice. Melt 2 tblsp butter in a large saute pan; add apples and saute for about 5 minutes on medium/high. Add 1 tsp cinnamon (sprinkle evenly over the top) and about 1/3 to 1/2 cup brown sugar (also evenly over the top). Saute gently until the sugar melts and it makes a bit of a sauce (about 2-3 minutes). Serve over ice cream, and if you're really gilding the lily, pound cake. (The lily was gilded. It was good.)

I have done ... not much worth talking about. It's been one of those days.
