Apparently 'Film Genres in Context' is code for 'we will be seeing a ridiculous number of westerns in the first three weeks of this course'. (I picked up the course packet today.)

Bleh. I hate westerns. All that wide open scenery (meaning: big fields of nothing) and stuff. Reminds me of trying to find my way around Mulgore.

Things went much better this morning. Yay for retention! Maybe it was the extra coffee. Which has now worn off. *snooze* I'm home for the afternoon, so I'm planning on making this place not look like a bomb exploded in it ... someday ... eventually.
