yet another discworld quizzy
Nov. 5th, 2005 08:54 pmToday: much cleaning, finishing of small paper for music class, watching of "The Merchant of Venice." Tis very pretty.
I hate feminist film theory. Feminist film theory would likely maintain that Portia wasn't a strong female character because she got married to a man. Personally I don't remember anything in those vows about the entire dissolution of one's inner strength and the effacement of one's personality, but maybe I wasn't paying attention. It was early in the morning. I haven't gotten a memo about it, but maybe I fell off their mailing list.
( anyway! make with the clicky clicky. )
