vacation, day two
Dec. 11th, 2005 01:21 pmBooks finished: 'Pattern Recognition' (William Gibson) (ZOMG *love*!) and 'The Last Battle' (Lewis) (I liked the Narnia books better as they went on, but I still think I'm going off of pure fantasy. Also I didn't like 'Horse and His Boy' much and liked the others. It didn't really do much for the main narrative thread of the series, IMO.)
Next up: probably Harry Potter book six. After that, 'About A Boy' (Hornby) and 'Norweigian Wood' (Murakami)
Knitting: still working on the bag of doom: I'm about half done now, I think. Probably finish that in the next few days.
Holiday decor: nada. Probably this week. Ditto cards and gifts. Some of my addresses are still on my Mac (as opposed to Chris's Mac.) If you haven't, feel free to fill out my holiday card poll of doom.
Classes: Monday night conflict leads to switching classes again - this time to a Thursday night theater class. I think it might actually stay this way. Very theater-centric quarter coming up, it seems.
Questions about resolutions: What's the big deal with Curves? How is it better than any ol' regular gym? I say this because I can use the PSU gym for nothing as part of my student fees, but so many people are raving about Curves in specific that I wonder if there's something else there. (Although for some reason the idea of going to an all-female gym creeps me out because women are as packs more judgemental then most men I've met, so maybe that's not an option regardless.)
Questions about food: Why is it that an egg salad sandwich is not considered breakfast by default, but a fried egg sandwich is?
