4th Amendment Packing Tape.

Anything else can wait until after my coffee. I think giving up caffeine at this point is impossible: I didn't have any coffee yesterday and the withdrawal headache is still kicking my ass.

Not that I want to give up coffee. It was good enough for Bach. A woman's got to have a few vices in life.

1/2 cup coffee worth of an edit: StoryNory - downloadable audio stories/podcasts for kidlets.

Judge quotes Adam Sandler movie in brief.

I don't even like Adam Sandler movies, but this amused me mightily. :-D

Okay, so (as far as I know) current U.S. disability law states that they can't make distinctions between disabilities past a certain point - which is why [livejournal.com profile] tallin, who used to run 5 km/day, can get a disabled parking permit.

And yet I can't get free 411 on my phone line, because that's restricted to the visually impaired (and certain motor disabilities, I believe, but I'm not sure.)

Discuss. Am I totally wrong on this? It doesn't make sense to me.

Also! Why is it that the front seats on a Greyhound bus are the ones reserved? Given that they have ABSOLUTELY NO LEG ROOM WHATSOEVER (I can't sit in them, they cause actual problems, but you try telling that to the idiots at customer service - go on, you tell them, see if you can get farther than I do) and I mean, if you have physical problems, you'll have a hell of a lot more problems moving on the bus that's hurtling down the I-5 at 55 mph. What if you need to go potty, God help you? Assuming you don't get eaten by the bus potty monsters.

Dear World At Large:

Just because the comma key exists does not mean that you need to get all happy with it like a junkie with a needle. Commas will not go bad. They are not like a case of meat that you buy at Sam's Club. Please do not salt your sentences with them liberally and aimlessly in the hope that you'll hit the right places: punctuation marks are not buckshot. An apostrophe does not mean 'beware of oncoming 's'', and a comma does not mean 'beware of oncoming word'.

Also: 'to wander' means to walk around aimlessly. 'to wonder' means to question or think about. These two words are not hot-swappable. Thank you.
