So
tallin, in his quest to own a ridiculous number of palmtop-like devices (current count == 2.5) bought himself a new Pocket PC Phone, and so he gave me his old phone, which was an unlcoked Nokia 6670 that he'd picked up off of eBay a while ago.
Of course
tallin is picky about his mobile phones because he wants one that you can install speech synth software on which narrows it down to Pocket PC phones and certain phones that run the Symbian OS, mostly Nokias that aren't made in this country because the phone companies seem determined to sell everyone one of those damned RAZRs whether they want them or not. (I hate Motorola phones, for the record. I had one for six months and couldn't figure it out for the life of me.)
I am, oddly enough, more picky than he is. I only like candybar phones (ie: non-clamshell, non-flip phones) and I only really like Nokias. And this is why I inherited the other phone. I'm happy - it runs their Lifeblog suite, it plays MP3 ringtones, it's a Nokia candybar phone ...
Of course since it came off of eBay it had software the previous owner had installed on it - mostly games ...
The point to this: there is Frogger on my phone.
I still suck at it, for the record.
(Apologies for the utter disjointed nature of this entry: it's one of those days which lead me to wish I could buy a home hysterectomy kit at Costco or something.)
