obviously someone hit the monday button a little too hard

Today's fun includes a sick child with lowgrade fever (again! wtf?), my muscle and joint pain bleeding through the meds (excellent!) and no functioning cold water in the shower. Fabulous.
There's a plumber coming at noon and the kid's sleeping off his ick. Hopefully things will improve soon. Not impressed with my sample of today, no, I'd like to return it please.

down with the sickness

(a) I'm searching for people to proofread (beta-read? is there a difference) my pieces for wilson_fest. Poke me if you would be so kind. :-) Will pay in effusive gratitude and possibly cookies.
(2) Child is too sick to stim. Too sick to jump up and down. He's been sleeping for the past hour or so, and generally lethargic all morning. Poor little dude, he's really suffering, seriously. We're out of tylenol that isn't time release (which he can't take) and I feel like a lousy mom. bah. In my defense, the last time he had a high fever I think we may not have been living in this area code, and we definitely weren't in this apartment.

Boy is better, possibly well enough to do school tomorrow. If he had words he'd thank you for all your good wishes, but he doesn't, so I'll thank you instead. <3 Thanks. And the water got fixed, so we're good now.
The cats are still insane, but that's nothing new.

Edit: although he hates me, because I just gave him a spoonful of buckley's mixture. (tastes awful, but it works.)
