braaaaaaaaaaaains

Many, many moons ago, I had what was probably (in retrospect) borderline anorexia. Managed to pull myself out of it but I have weird thought patterns around weight and dieting that I have to be very careful of. (This would be why I never have much commentary on diet-or-weightloss-based posts. In case that matters to you.)

I now have (mostly managed) panic disorder + GAD (generalized anxiety disorder). (I actually have both; I found this out for sure a couple of weeks ago talking to The New Dr. Boyfriend. Yay, an actual diagnosis! Now if they could only figure out the pain thing I'd be set.)

These tips on how to support someone with an eating disorder easily apply to panic disorders or really many kinds of "disordered" thinking. Very helpful.

this day, however, is not today. Although if I'm lucky maybe tonight or tomorrow there might be fiction (I'm mulling something over that's original that deserves more attention, and also mulling over jane_hiddell's recent houseonmywilson Silly Prompt of the Random Time Period.)
