things I have done today

Had sushi! Like, real, actual high quality sushi. With raw fish in it. And it was AWESOME. I thank zaratyst for educating me and for an awesome lunch. I finally get why people eat raw tuna.

Taken possession of a Game Boy Advance.

Walked around Bellevue a lot.

Bought my monthly bus pass (finally!)

Failed to go to the post office again.

Talked to people.

Started and finished a book ('Reasons to Live' by Amy Hempel. Very good.)

Had a barbecue pork honbow for breakfast. Nom nom nom. (It was a good day for asian food).

Had a few drabble/minific ideas.

Been very impressed by the boy's school paintings. Pictures of those to come. <3

Been invited to a baby shower for the boy's teacher, which I may or may not go to, I haven't decided.

Really neat antique-looking animal trays. (I don't know why, but they make me think of purridot. Very gracious and a little quirky, but in a good way, like her.)
