1. Recieved actual contract for poem I sold ages ago. Have signed and returned. squee!

2. Am attempting to find ABA therapist. Hate this process. UWAutism has 6-9 month wait after your application is recieved. Cannot afford to just wait for them as could be here forever. Am making a million and three phone calls. Hate. Anyone local happen to know of an awesome ABA therapist?

3. I only have two appointments to deal with this week. squee! Am done stupid houseworky things. also squee! Cats are snuggling, child is off at school. Am at loose ends. Fear me.

And yes, I'm feeling better now, thanks. <3 I think the babysitter may have accidentally glutened the kid yesterday, hence the, erm, problems that were leading me to feeling kind of blah. I slept decently and my pain meds are working astoundingly well - that ultrasound really must have done something, because it's still working to some extent. And I get more tomorrow! squee!

I have thought that the Japanese were trying to take over the world using small, adorable objects for some time now.

This does nothing to disprove my theory. (link from the lovely [livejournal.com profile] kshandra. worksafe.)

So the kid goes into his room, goes into his Giant Black Hole Of Toys, and pulls out a toy car.

Kid brings it out here.

He does not throw it.

He does not stim with it.

He just ... pushes it across the floor a few times.

(Okay, yes. Then he got distracted and started jumping on his sofa. That's not the point, work with me here.)

The child PLAYED LIKE A SEMI-NEUROTYPICAL CHILD.

OF HIS OWN ACCORD.

...

WHAT.
