So last night on my way out of the movie (Postcards from Leningrad: good movie, fyi) I wiped out on a bottle of gin.
No, really.
One of my forearm crutches got caught on an empty gin bottle and I slipped - and then some random guy (possibly drunk/crazy/just weird) started interrogating me, informing me that drinking said gin wouldn't really do me any good for, you know, walking.
Needless to say I informed him that this was not MY gin and got up and kept going. But yes, this is the kind of odd event I run into, being lectured by random lunatics whilst sprawled on the sidewalk.
(This plus the hardcore headache I had last night was why I took the two percocet and why I'm just waking up like, now. So I have no morning left, which pisses me off hardcore because there ar only two more school days until the kid's off for two weeks and that basically means I'll have no guaranteed time to myself until the start of July when summer school starts ARGH.)
... why ARE there no school programs or whatever in August? Even the daycamps run through July pretty much exclusively. What's up with that?
No, really.
