( all back here. )
Dec. 3rd, 2008
today was a vast improvement on yesterday
Dec. 3rd, 2008 05:17 pmI managed to finally get enough sleep and get rid of most of my pain (hands stiff as always and the left ankle HATES ME like a cranky two year old who hasn't gotten its own way) has as a result left for a while: of course i accomplished this by sleeping a good bit of the afternoon, which is less than optimal but maybe i can get away with only taking one percocet tonight instead of two.
Sadly this means that the apartment is still a disaster. I can't find hardly anything, including the freaking stereo; hopefully Chris can give me a hand arranging a few things tonight because this is just an unacceptable level of unorganized even for just being moved, and i want to start living in an apartment instead of a bomb shelter.
Clickies today from the utterly awesome
epi_lj: more than 130,000 inflatable breasts lost at sea. I love this beyond all reason.
And a second one from my excellent girlfriend and several other people also: What is happening in Canada right now: a primer on Canadian politics. (this explains how confused I am over the US elections, and also how Canada's evolution as a country is startlingly different than America's. Good reading, seriously.)
how are you? I'm hoping to catch up with you all soon.
