Hi from the wonderfully shiny and glassy city of Vancouver, British Columbia.
We got in about five hours late because they cancelled our train due to mudslide on the tracks between Seattle and Vancouver. But it's lovely - all of that Pacific Northwest culture, the same rain, but it's got its own local flavour.
We have french pastries and champagne (see where we're staying here) and roses in all of the rooms, and a nice perky DSL connection. It's like, romantic geek heaven.
Just having morning coffee before going out to attack the city (going to MEC today, and we must hunt down some more coffee an' fixin's; also probably a stop at Lush and I want one of those Canadian Girls Kick Ass t-shirts, because everyone knows the truth of that).
Catch up with you cats later. :-)
