tallin is at the Head Start appointment, because he handles paperwork much better than I do, (it's just filling out forms) I have a headache, and today is Toddler Boot Camp day. What I mean by Toddler Boot Camp day is that Sean did not sleep well last night at all - he went to sleep at around one-thirty. (We will presently ignore the fact that I was also up until one thirty reading the last half of Good Omens, and continue with the story.) He also woke us up again for some random nonsensical screaming (I think he may have an allergy; I've been giving him cold/allergy medicine at night and that seems to be helping - time to go back to the homeopath again, I think, at some point) at four-thirty. Then he slept until ten-thirty, when we woke him with Gusto (Gusto is defined here as 'picking him up and dragging his sorry toddler-beeehind out into the living room for some noise and play therapy').
Since then it has been The World According To Mom, which is defined here as 'Sleep During The Day is Evil.' This is mostly accomplished by giving him many snacks and playing his favorite music. So I get to listen to Freezepop and the Chemical Brothers all day. Oh well - it isn't Barney.
But, well, since I haven't had enough sleep, that's why the headache exists. But it's a nice day, anyway.
Later on I'm sure it'll be The World According To Dad. That's like the World According to Mom, but less tolerant, and more likely to ring jingle bells at you.

Stupid bint on half.com only sent me one disk of a 3 CD set. *grumble* I want the first two disks. (For your reference, it's Henry Mancini, and the damn box set itself is out of print. I shall get the Peter Gunn music or someone shall suffer Dire Consequences. (Dire Consequences are defined here as 'negative feedback'.)

Don't ask why I sound like Dave Barry today. Seriously, I don't know. Maybe it's the sunshine.
