I think I have some kind of flu or something. Uck. This can feel free to stop at any time, damnit. I don't like sickidda.
That said, I watched Austin Powers 2 on TV last night (yes, I'm behind times, I hadn't seen either) and laughed so hard I nearly died. What a ridiculously goofy movie. ([livejournal.com profile] kay_willow, I can see what you mean about Seth Green sounding completely different there, you'd never know it was the same guy.)

Today's crop of links, brought to you by the letter Q and the number 35:
Husband goes to jail to get rid of nagging wife.
Hairdressers get rid of wild boar.
Intelligent clothing. So very, very cool.
And these totally nifty biofeedback stress balls. I know it says they're for kids, but damnit, I want one!
Japanese picture flip clock. I want one of those too.

Oh man. :-D Seaners just figured out how to remove a shirt by himself. (He can do pants, shirts thus far have eluded him.)
I should eat something and drag Chris out of bed.

When I was at York a million and a half years ago (closer to seven, give or take - I still feel old, and I can't believe I'm going back to school with all those cute little kids there nowadays being the old lady that I am/feel, and I'm probably going to feel utterly out of place, but that's another story) I used to visit [livejournal.com profile] anndrag at U of T. (University of Toronto - which is downtown.) She lived in the west end in the dorms there and we'd go out walking in the Annex.

Somewhere just west of Spadina on Bloor Street there was a weird little cafe where, apparently (unfortunately we weren't there at the time, which just totally sucks) a guy came in holding a duck hostage.

He said that he'd kill the duck (on second thought it may have been a goose, but it was definitely waterfowl, anyway) unless people paid him not to. So the patrons of the coffee shop passed a hat around and gave him money and the duck (goose) was saved from a horrible death.

This is, as far as I know, true.

I told you that story so I could tell you this one.

Ugh.

Well, I either have the flu, the plague, or I'm pregnant. I really doubt it's that last one, given, but I suppose stranger things have happened.
I'm slacking off on commitments, and for that I apologise profusely, but I have no energy whatsoever - woozy, dizzy whenever I get up, overly warm even with the windows open, nauseous, airheaded, you know the drill. I /want/ to do things, but the body hates me. *whine*
Here, amuse yourselves with a sonic banana (you'll want Quicktime and sound for this, trust me. You don't really need the visuals. It's wonderfully disturbing, especially when you're sick). My contribution to the revolution. I'm going back to Discworld now and dream of a day when I can coherently create good sentences again. That day is not today.

The Gallery of Regrettable Food, for anyone that hasn't seen it. [livejournal.com profile] weaktwos reminded me of it, and this is what was making me laugh through my lousiness today. Consider this your spit take warning. This man is hilarious.
Still feel lousy. Am lying around on the sofa like giant thoughtless lump. Am also pissed off because there's no SVU episode this week, either - they just rebroadcast the season premiere. Oh well, shiny new law and order in half an hour.
