2660 words on "end of the world as we know it" (which is over at [livejournal.com profile] tangentialcurve, the new writing journal.) Go me.
Boy went to bed early. Go boy.
Reruns of 'Venture Brothers' make me giggle like an insane person. I think it's nearly bedtime, yes I do.

Oh, smurf.

Well, Seaners had an evening of being Bratty Smurf, crashed out at 9:00 and slept through until about six. Then he became Cute Smurf and came into our room and was all giggly while playing with the handles on our dresser. Of course, this was at six-thirty, when Mommy and Daddy were trying to sleep, but it was still cute anyway. Much better than Bratty Smurf.
Today I will get my pumpkin milkshake. And quarters to do laundry. And will finish the next section of the NaNo piece. Yes.
Oh, damnit, that stupid parents' meeting is tonight ...
I'll do things the hard way and take a notebook. Or something.
Our bank account is still vaguely b0rken, but it's at least mostly fixed now. And Chris has been doing mondo work with a Korean company trying to get one of their products (his boss now loves him dearly) so the financial rut is starting to lift. Yay. Still not sure about the other contract yet - they're waiting to see if their bid has been accepted.
In other news, our son LOVES the dial tone. He'll go out of his way to find the phone and make the dial tone happen. I can foresee it not being long before we call Australia.
Edit: Okay, no, work is happening, but work is good, because work means money. Tired, I am. More coffee please.
(And I have so much love for today's Irregular Webcomic!)
