Chickeny chicken chicken bawk bawk BAWK.
Nov. 10th, 2004 12:02 pmOkay, so I chickened out of the parents' meeting.
But I had a good /reason/ for chickening out of the parents' meeting. Really.
There's an NFB parents' group for parents of blind kids starting up soon, and it occured to both of us that that would be a far more useful group than one that's cross-disabilities, given that it would focus on the stuff we can actually USE. So we chickened out and went to Burgerville and I finally got my pumpkin milkshake.
Which is even better than I expected. It's like pumpkin spice lattes except creamier and with whipped cream on top. We also got the huckleberry milkshake and split them - the huckleberry was also wonderful except for the bits of fruit skin in it.
Now we have no kiddo and Chris is in the office today meeting with some marketing dude. So I'm home alone. And I shall write, or somesuchthing. I shall try to, anyway.
