boggles the mind
Jun. 17th, 2005 01:14 pmI completely fail to comprehend why someone would hire someone else to install a piece of software. Like, pay money to someone else to install a piece of software. Assuming, of course, that we're not talking a server or something. Just a regular old windows program.

Not that I'm COMPLAINING. It just feels like tossing your money away.
Edit: Okay, I go out and buy me a blender, right? I take it home and figure out how to use it. I don't let it sit there and collect dust, or use it as a doorstop, or what have you.
So why is it that so many people will buy a computer and have no idea how to use it and not bother trying, when doing the same thing with a blender or a breadmaker would be ridiculous? And why this is considered okay?
