night shift II: son of night shift
Nov. 14th, 2005 06:38 amSean has been awake (with the exception of one 45 minute nap) all night.
Chris spent the first three hours (after I went to bed) watching him. It is now my turn. Needless to say class is not happening today. (Let's take a moment here to appreciate the fact that I have a totally awesome spouse. I can't believe we've been married nearly/only five years this March.)
Cold medicines do not work on this child. He is a mutant. (He has a cold. This is why he's awake. Pardon my parenthetical obviousness: you'd be this way too, if it were you.)
We need a gate for his bedroom door. Which I would have by now, if the damn state of Washington would hurry up and pay its bills ...
This entry brought to you by November: the month of the death of a thousand cuts. When you need practice juggling papers, bills and sanity, think 'November'.
(Seriously: this happens every year. Everything falls apart in November. At least no one's died this year.)
