sunday funnies
Dec. 18th, 2005 11:29 amToday's Doonesbury amuses me greatly.
Also: the eggnog-based rice pudding experiment was a definite success. I couldn't taste the nog much (of course, that could be because of the six cups of milk I put in only 1/4 of that was replaced with nog) (yes, six cups - the recipe says eight, but I find you don't need eight.) Maybe I'll make it again soon and use more nog.
(Which reminds me, I wonder if I've missed the Fairly Oddparents Christmas special?)
It is cold and vile today, with much wind (high wind warnings). I think today I'm going to do laundry, attempt to re-felt the bag o' doom, and watch 'My Own Private Idaho'.
Last night we watched the last disk of 'His and Her Circumstances' (what's up with that ending?? that is the worst ending ever) and the first disk of Pretear, which
tallin hadn't seen. And I made a ridiculous number of CDs for various nefarious purposes. It feels like that should end in 'ous', just to preserve the flow of the sentence. :-D
Also, in the 'weird things my kid will eat' department: eggs florentine. Yes, including the spinach.
