clawing my way toward human

My film noir teacher is gorgeous and funny and has a fantastic french accent (he's from the states, he just spent the last four months teaching in France). He totally knows his stuff, and we're watching some fabulous movies (Next week: double feature! The Asphalt Jungle and Double Indemnity.).

(Weird random note: I just realized that 'the states' is a Canadianism. Americans say 'the US' most of the time.)
