mixed bag, mostly good.
Sep. 29th, 2008 04:50 pmAnnoying things:
Seaners took apart my favorite pen and there is now one piece missing; without that piece the whole thing refuses to work. His so-called Indian name should be 'destroyer of everything' considering that over the weekend he got into my wallet, broke one checkcard in half and rendered the other one semi-usable. I am SICK AND TIRED of calling the goddamn bank every two weeks to get a replacement card.
The milk for my cereal was all spoiled and icky. Must work on buying less or drinking more milk.
Tub is not draining properly.
I am still tired and no one is calling me back about getting my brainmeats fixed.
Half the time I call Sean 'Neko' or 'Velvet' and the cats frequently get called 'Sean'.
The school is confusing me again with their random activities. It's 'sharing time' on Thursday so the boy has to bring in something. Ummmm. His favorite stuffed item is huge, his favorite toys are Dad, the stuff in my purse, toothbrush cases, the sofa and the trampoline ... oh hell. I feel odd sending him with a toothbrush case 'this is my favorite stimmie'. Maybe I'll send in his favorite CD (or a copy of it). God, I don't know, stop asking me to think, people, please. And they have a random day of no school on 10/10 which faintly irks me in its randomness.
Good things:
Very sweet and helpful gift from a friend, who may wish to remain anonymous so I'm leaving it so for the moment
Had a second nap since starting this post and I feel significantly better now. Although still tired.
Neko got himself entangled in a bag, which was funny (he actually leapt across about five feet of room in the process of trying to get it off - fortunately it came away easily and there was no harm done, it was just funny)
Seaners has started making a 'mmmm' sound when he wants to get or give kisses, like *mmmwah*
Respite provider shared the fruit windfall from her trees with us. Pears (for the child), tiny plums (for the child) and apples (for everybody).
Possibly may have my missing pain meds situation sorted out.
So I suppose on balance good, which is nice. I just wish I weren't so tired. How are you?
edit: oh!
machineplay shared this with me because she's awesome: this guy has a hell of a pencil collection. <3
