phinnia: smiling dolphin face (clouds)
Wow, that sleep thing? It works.

Seriously, I was only woken up once during the night, and that was pleasant and good, and then there was sleep until eight. (Don't ask. You don't want to know.) Sean's been feverless for 24 hours (yay!) and the rash is about half to 75% gone since last night. He crashed out around 10 and woke up around sevenish. (A miracle happened.) So assuming the rash is no longer contagious/wasn't contagious in the first place, we're good to go for tomorrow. We have an appointment at 2:15 today to look at this and to discuss allergy testing if needed.

So *touch wood* things are looking up.

Classes for next quarter:
MUS302 - Music History II for Non-majors (online) (I took the first part of this winter quarter - I kept the book, it's just a continuation.)
GER101 - First Year German - MWF 11:35-12:45 (I decided on German. Chris knows Spanish and we both know at least some French, so the future European trip is looking good. Besides, German had about five different time slots. Danish had one.)
WR420 - Writing: Process and Response - TR 2:00-3:50 - (Another vague upper level writing elective. I assume it's a workshop.)

This song is STALKING ME. Must suggest it as the next [livejournal.com profile] lyric_plot challenge. Totally.

Good news: Seaners does NOT have an allergy to chocolate, as far as we know. What he DID have was some apparently common to children thing called roseola which means basically super-high fever, viral infection, rash. It usually happens to kids around his age or younger, and is utterly nothing to worry about.
The other good: in February he was measured as being in the 5th or so percentile for weight. Now he's pretty solidly in the 50th percentile for weight. So the more protein and more snacks is all good. He's 34 pounds and 39 inches tall, I think they said.
The vaguely suck: Chris won't be leaving town this week, but he will be gone from Monday night to Saturday morning next week. Le BLEH.

Trader Joe's has LEMON CURD now.
Well, I had to get some things anyway ... tomorrow's good.
