Video store with nearly everything I wanted and things I didn't know I wanted, including the three disk documentary on Ernest Shackleton that purridot told me about just before I left (<3 <3 <3!): check! (I think I could go in there for the rest of my natural life and not manage to get bored. Sorry, tallin: no Simon in the Land of Chalk Drawings, and Pinky and the Brain disk set 2 was out, but I got Corner Gas season 1 instead.)
Cute girls who know film working at video store and who were obviously looking at my chest long enough to admire my new bpal steampunk shirt: check! (yes! I am a pervy lech. I pull no punches.)
Kid not yet sent home by paranoid administrators: check check!

my writerbrain: setting the bar ever higher since 1982

I'm scrapping the 200 words I have on my last House smutfic (the femmeslash one) and setting it in an AU of feudal Japan. I have six days to do this before the deadline, and it contains Cameron, who I've written a grand total of once.

This, plus last night's little ramble with Cthulhu, may be the last step towards complete insanity. Oh well! I'm enjoying the trip.
